Planning a Tour
Apart from the insight into the history, NKP Ležáky offers leisure activities, exhibitions and also projections of historical films and documents.
If you are interested in historical events of 1942 and the life stories of the people who lived here at that time, we recommend that you should view the permanent exhibition at the museum and take a walk about the memorial site, i.e. the place of the former hamlet. Here you'll find several stops, such as graves-houses, the book of the victims and a granite monument. The museum offers you a look into the history of Ležáky through photographs, an experience of the tragedy of the hamlet and the listening to the evidence of witnesses as recorded in a documentary.
There is in the vicinity of the museum an exhibition hall called Mini Gallery that hosts short-term, primarily historically themed exhibitions. Admission free.
You can use services of our trained guides (if ordered) or download for free an audio guide for smartphones (iOS, Android).
